I asked Ayesha and Dean a hypothetical question: "If Warrant Buffet gave you $1 billion to solve problems related to Alzheimer's and dementia, how would you invest the money?" (The only restriction in our scenario was that the money must be used for care, and not for research).
Their solution would transcend Alzheimer's, and transform communities. Are you watching, Mr. Buffet?

I would build a facility just for Alzheimer's patients, much like St. Jude for kids.... then provide advanced education for ALL team members.

I would build some purpose built Dementia/ Alzheimers facilities. Much like the village in the Netherlands. Pay for staff to be specifically trained. My dad has dementia and I can see a real need in Australia 🇦🇺

Teach law enforcement to recognize this disease. When to end driving privileges, when to recognize that it may be an Alzheimer's patient making a report of an incident that they themselves believe to reality but is really not.

I would build a self sustaining facility much like dementia village and cater to the memories. The heart doesn't forget.
