A question for Alzheimer's families.

I have found that almost everyone I meet in the Alzheimer's and dementia community is keenly aware of the fleeting nature of our memories.  As our loved ones are losing their memories, we search for a way to hold onto them, and also to capture the story of their life in a way that can be shared for generations to come.   My nieces, for example, were so young when my mother passed away.  How will they get to know the special person they see in photos, holding them as newborn babies, if we don't create a tangible record that they can visit as they grow up?

As important as may be, it is a daunting task, isn't it?  I'd like to know how many of you have done it, if you have not, or if it's a work in progress.  Please take a moment to answer our poll -- and stop back later to see the results.
